Idea 1 - Portable Silencer
Having to work from home, I have the delightful experience of working above a Kita.
How might I create a controllable device, that would enable me to silence the world around me, or distort sound back to it's source, or create an environment where one person, or 2, could find peace.Technology that would be interesting to explore:
- sound cancellation
- sound distortion
- ambience creation
Idea 2 - Controlling room light by step
I like the idea of entering in a room and the light (ambience) reacting to me in a 'smart' way.
How might I influence the space around me through minimal interaction. Either with my step (where I step) or with a device that's organic and intuitive.Technology that would be interesting to explore:
- Reactive floor surfaces
- Haptic light controls
- Light sensors
Idea 3 - Musical HopscotchAt college I created a hop-scotch that would emit noise while you hopped on it. It might be cool to recreate this with todays technology
