You will explore the topic of interactive sound. For this purpose, there will be an introduction to the topic of Sonic Interaction Design (SID) and the prototypical implementation of sonic events. Initially, the focus will be on elementary actions (basic interaction) and their sonic interpretation.
The course teaches an in-depth understanding of sound and the possibilities of sonic design, including performative and improvisational techniques for sound design. Students will look into analysis, conceptualization, and prototypical implementation of the sonic design for interactive objects and spaces, including the related skills and technological knowledge.
